Bracebridge
Bracebridge (population from 2006 is approx. 15,652) is a beautiful town in the heart of Muskoka that overlooks blooming waterfalls and also both estuary’s of the Muskoka River. Bracebridge grew unlike other settlements in Muskoka because of its quaint falls. Bracebridge is Canada’s waterfall capital with 22 waterfalls and is also the first town in Ontario to have its own hydro generating station that was built in 1894 .

Gravenhurst
Gravenhurst (population from 2001 is approx. 10,899) is known as the first town in Muskoka and home to the Segwun about 15 KM away from Bracebridge and covers 523 Square KM.

Huntsville (population from 2006 is approx. 18,280) is alongside the Muskoka River that covers 700.9 Square KM of urban areas, large forests, lakes and wetlands. Huntsville has 144 lakes the largest being; Lake Vernon, Lake Fairy, Lake Mary and Lake Peninsula.
